Thinning of the herd

Gyahahahaha! So there we go, it has happened, after two months of waiting, our promotion to the next grade has been announced, for some of us, at least, gyahahaha!

Anyways, before I went to school, I had to go join a bunch of classmates in a fast food joint, no biggie, so I went. I had time to burn, so it was alright. I didn't eat anything, mind you. After about forty-five minutes of information digging, I figured out I had nothing left to do there, and proceeded to walk to school, it wasn't particularly far away, at least not far enough for me to feel all sweaty and Randall-ish.

By the time I reached school, it was around an hour before the results, so I got onto my perch and watched while the individual gears turn, and the pieces slowly fall into place.

During that time, I learned of two pieces of information, and I quote:
1. My English teacher was happy with my English results.
2. And my Maths teacher to my Maths result.

And since three subjects are needed to pass, if I have those two grades being satisfiable, the last one would of course be Science, and how can I do badly at that? Gyahahaha.

Finally, the time arrived for everyone to congregate in the Hall, for the results, of course. Before they gave out their results, the school gave a next-to-useless, to me anyway, presentation on the Institute of Technical Education, despite the nice-sounding name, they're actually hellholes, due to the manner of people who go there.

After that, we found out about the people with the top ten grades, I naturally made it. With three distinctions no less, I did not expect to get a distinction for English, but I wasn't surprised, either.

Then, they started to hand out the actual results, it was a major bore, and took a lot of time because they did it for the girls first, and then it was to us, one at a time, each taking no less than a minute. I already knew my results, so I didn't rush or anything.

After all this, I was disappointed in one thing though, the amount of people who wept, I was hoping for a full-blown bawfest, but I guess it just doesn't go your way all the time. The thought that lives start to suck is a nice consolation, as always.
